CytoSolv is developing proprietary technology to address acute and chronic wound healing, initially targeting diabetic ulcers. Its technology, which involves a mixture of wound-healing factors derived from porcine choroid plexus (CP), a key component of the blood brain barrier, is currently focused on a topical healing gel and has generated promising clinical data. In collaboration with Living Cell Technologies, Ltd. (ASX:LCT), a publicly-traded company with operations in Australia and New Zealand, the company is working with genetically pure swineherd off the southern coast of New Zealand as source material for its tissue regeneration applications.
